Rose Kihara, APRN

Originally from Kenya, Rose moved to the United States to pursue higher education. She first attended Worcester State University in Massachusetts where she concentrated in general studies. She later attended Fitchburg State University and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
 
Following graduation, Rose moved to Waterbury, CT where she worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at St. Mary's Hospital. While there, she enrolled at Quinnipiac University in the Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 and shortly after, she joined the Charter Oak Health Center, where she worked as a family nurse practitioner.
 
Rose later returned to Massachusetts to join her family. During this time, she worked at Reliant Medical Group's internal medicine department for three years. She then joined their urgent care center where she worked for three and a half years.
 
In 2018, Rose saw an opportunity to start her own practice. Thus, Family Health Care & Walk In Center was founded with a goal to provide quality care for all age groups.
 
Rose enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and cooking.
